I have traveled to Las Vegas countless times over the past decade and have stayed at Excalibur, Planet Hollywood, Caesar’s, The Wynn, Venetian, Flamingo, and Golden Nugget. For the past half-decade, I have visited Sin City almost 20 times, and I have only stayed at Paris Las Vegas. I feel very strongly that this hotel is the best option on The Strip for so many reasons.

Location. Location. Location.
Location is everything. When you stay at Paris Las Vegas, you will be in the center of the main part of The Strip. Paris Las Vegas is located a little more than a mile away from Excalibur on the south end and The Wynn on the north end. You can easily walk south down The Strip one day and north up The Strip another to check out all the hotels and casinos. I would not recommend doing all this walking with heels on, but with comfortable shoes, it should be no problem!
There are a few other hotels in the vicinity of Paris (Bellagio, Caesar’s, Planet Hollywood…) that will give you the same great location as Paris. But for the other myriad reasons mentioned below, Paris surpasses them all.
Middle of the Road Pricing…
Of the hotels in the middle of The Strip, Paris Las Vegas is reasonably priced. Bellagio and Caesar’s are luxury hotels and are more expensive. The Cromwell and Cosmopolitan are boutique hotels which also makes them a higher price point. Paris and Planet Hollywood are about the same price point with Bally’s being a little less expensive. But Bally’s is missing a few of the amenities that Paris offers such as a great theme, amazing restaurants, and views of the Eiffel Tower and Bellagio fountains.
If cheap room rates are your ultimate goal, then there are hotels with lower room rates. However, they are either off-strip, downtown, or far from the center of The Strip. Consider when you stay at one of these locations, you spend more time (and steps) walking and more money taking taxis or Ubers, so the room is not quite as cheap as the room rate would leave you to believe.
Take a Walk in Paris…
Paris Las Vegas has gone through extraordinary efforts to transport its visitors to a night in Paris. The details in its design to achieve this Paris theme rival Disney World. The Parisian icon, the Eiffel tower, stands tall at the front of the hotel, and the legs of the statue are part of the casino floor. The ceiling is painted like the night sky at dusk. Walkways in the hotel are faux Cobblestone streets and are lined with Parisian-styled building facades.
From the casino floor, you can access the hotel’s main attraction. Take an elevator to the Eiffel Tower viewing deck for amazing views of the Vegas Strip. If you time it right, you can watch the dancing Bellagio Fountains from an elevated view that few people get to see.
So Many Food Options…
Paris offers more than just the dining options I have listed but these are tried and true. I have never had a bad meal, and it is hard to convince me to try other places because I love these so much.
Le Village Buffet. You have to try at least one buffet when visiting Las Vegas, and the Le Village Buffet is a great option. This buffet specializes in French cuisine and has a made-to-order crepe station.
Gordon Ramsay Steak. Celebrity chef, Gordon Ramsay, is known for his beef wellington. You can try it at Gordon Ramsay Steak.
Hexx. I have eaten brunch here twice. The portions were so large, and the food was so yummy! The views of the Strip and the Bellagio Fountains put this restaurant over the top.
Café Americana. Feel like an American in Paris while eating at Café Americana that serves, you guessed it, American cuisine. The restaurant is located on the casino floor and has “outdoor” seating under the faux Parisian sky.
Mon Ami Gabi. This French bistro offers French classics such as filet mignon, steak tartare, and escargots.
JJs Boulangerie. For a quick bite when you are on the go, JJs Boulangerie is a great option for pizzas, sandwiches, and pastries. Do not be discouraged by a long line, it goes quickly.
Have a Drink…
Chateau Nightclub. If you want to get your groove on, you cannot miss Chateau Nightclub. The music is pumping, and the lights are glowing from this rooftop dance club under the Eiffel Tower replica.
Le Cabaret Bar. You do not even have to enter this bar to enjoy it. It is separated from the casino floor by a short wall. Pop music from the live band fills the area, and people of all skill levels, old and young, are dancing the night away.
Le Central Bar. This bar is centrally located and is near the casino table games and the Paris lobby. Because of its location, this bar is a good spot to meet up with your members of your party.
Beer Park. Who doesn’t love a rooftop bar? Beer Park is a casual bar that also offers classic bar food. The bar also has large television perfect for watching the game.
Take a Dip in the Pool…
Stay at Paris Las Vegas for a great swimming pool that serves poolside drinks and has a view of the Eiffel tower above you and Bellagio Fountains as the backdrop. The pool water is chilled to keep you cool during the Vegas heat. I would not classify Paris as a party pool. It has a chill, sophisticated vibe for getting a sun-kissed tan and enjoying classy day drinking.
If you prefer a party pool, I completely understand. I love a good poolside party as well as the next person. For this reason, I sometimes visit the pool at Bally’s which is next door and open to non-hotel guests.
Super Close Attractions and Conveniences…
Not only is Bally’s next door, but it connected to Paris. So you can access Bally’s without ever having to step foot in the Vegas heat. In addition to the pool, tourists can shop at the Grand Bazaar located between Bally’s and Las Vegas Boulevard. If you want to take the monorail, the closest station can be accessed through Bally’s.
If you cannot tell from the number of times I have mentioned the Bellagio Fountains, I LOVE the Bellagio Fountains. It is my absolute favorite attraction in Vegas. And my second favorite is the Bellagio Botanical Gardens. My favorite bar in Vegas is the Chandelier Bar in the Cosmopolitan. As such, I spend a lot of time in this area. CVS sits in the Grand Bazaar in front of Bally’s, and Walgreens lies in the shopping area of Planet Hollywood. Both of which are in close walking distance to Paris Las Vegas. This is convenient if you realize that you forgot to pack a brush. But this is also convenient for buying cheaper drinks than the bars serve. Buy some beer, White Claws, or even liquor at these convenient stores for consumption while in your hotel rooms or walking down the street.
Be a Total Rewards Member…
Stay at Paris Las Vegas and be part of the Total Rewards program where you can get discounts at all Caesar’s owned hotels. If you are a high roller, you can gain access to the Diamond Club for free appetizers and high-end cocktails. Also, Diamond and Seven Stars rewards members do not have to pay the resort fee.
Rent a Car…
If you want a car for the entire trip, rent from the airport. But if you only want a car for a day or two, you can rent a car at Hertz located in the Paris lobby. Rent a car for the Ultimate Day Trip from Las Vegas.
